Auctiva is an eBay auction management system that was founded in 1998. One of the original members of the eBay Developer Council, Auctiva has provided sellers and merchants with tools designed to help increase their sales volume on eBay.

Carl mentioned, "I had used Auctiva for years. At first it seemed like an easy way to list on Ebay but as time went on it became less user friendly and the customer support became worse, unless you paid an additional fee to upgrade your plan). The final straw for me was when they increased my plan fee by 50% but didn't email me or text me to inform me. They told me I should have searched for this info in a "messages" section on their website. Weirdly they did communicate promotional messages by email. If you do decide to use them I would check all their small print and there seems to be a lot of it! In my opinion, don't bother with Auctiva"

Former Employee - Developer says

"You don't have any say in to projects and what's going on. Flagship products are pretty old. Ideas for new projects and properly flushed out before being executed."

Former Employee - IT Technician says

"No room for growth, once the company was sold to a chinese company things went down hill"

says

"Management not committed to improve product development"

Former Employee - Software Engineer says

"- Pay is poor. Not competitive with companies in the Chico area. - Hard to get promoted - Upper management does not have a vision for the company. Within 2 years, the company shifted its focus too many times - Very little reuse of what is already built. If they start something new, similar useful projects are just thrown away."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"Upper management is lacking. There used to be more of a family feeling and culture, but that is gone. A lot of turn over in key leadership positions makes it feel unstable."

Former Employee - Software Engineer says

"Senior management isn't interested in employee's ideas. A co-worker of mine had a great idea to provide an innovative and delightful experience to our users. Our idea was shot down. A few months later a competitor implemented the idea and stole a lot of our customers."

Software Engineer says

"No raises, disrespectful coworkers, management refuses to allow for extra time to get things done right the first time."

Colin Graham says

"Anyone living outside the Unites States / Canada should be very careful. One of the main features of Auctiva was , for me the consignment insurance. The benefits of this insurance are heralded on almost every page. What is not so obvious is that the Insurance is not available for packages originating outwith the USA or Canada. I can understand why this is BUT there is no need to hide this away in the small print."
